This was a very powerful message - I got emotional thinking about how cultures, stories, and people die if we don't talk about them. Do you know your story? The story of your people? Who are your people? Where did they come from? What is their story? Storytelling is how Africana people's families, cultures, and philosophies have lived on for thousands of years. But if we stop learning, stop speaking, stop telling our story— what will live on? You never know how your story may transform someone. Your story, culture, or interest could make way for someone to unleash their gifts, release a burden, or transform an idea. Human connection is magical in that way. You give life and energy to experiences and ideas, and every time you speak. Share your story! Prose on about your people! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/ayanmo-radio/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ayanmo-radio/support
For Those Who Listen
For Those Who Listen" is a digital archive that I envision as a third space for Black radical thinkers and for folk healing intergenerational trauma. It's a platform for those who dare to imagine a new world and dream of freedom.
